Cookie Policy

This page explains the cookies SmoothProfit and its Programs' white-labeled portals use, and why.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. We also use similar browser-storage mechanisms (e.g. localStorage) for some of the same purposes.

2. Cookies we use

• Strictly necessary — session cookies set by Supabase Auth to keep you signed in to the agency console or affiliate portal. The Service does not function without these.
• Referral attribution — sp_ref and sp_visitor, set by the smoothprofit.js tracking script (or the /go/{code} short-link redirect) on a Program's own site, to attribute an order to the affiliate who referred it. These are first-party cookies scoped to the site they're set on.

3. Third-party cookies

Pages that embed Stripe's hosted onboarding or checkout flows may set cookies controlled by Stripe, governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.

4. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary session cookie will sign you out; blocking the referral-attribution cookies means a purchase on a Program's site may not be credited to the referring affiliate.
